Organization
What we do //
Founded in 2020 and built over the past 5 years, Bay Area Health Resources (BAHR) provides San Francisco Bay Area communities with access to relevant health resources through outreach and advocacy.
Our recent work has emphasized partnering with local physicians and medical groups to provide free or low-cost care for underserved communities of color, as well as young adults.

Our core principles //
Partnership - We can’t achieve our goals on our own. We build and maintain tight-knit relationships with businesses, government, and nonprofits to make resources available, and each partner plays an important role in accelerating progress.
People - We recognize that access to culturally conscious services is essential to effectively serving the diversity communities of the San Francisco Bay Area, and strive to center our resources around what is most individually relevant for people.
Perspective - We believe that diversity of perspective is a critical component of making informed decisions. Where appropriate, our resources include discussions on recent improvements in technology and insights on health-related policy developments.
