Andrew Zheng
Founder and Director
Andrew is the current Director of BAHR and a senior at Acalanes High School in Lafayette, California. As Director of BAHR, Andrew guides the vision and strategic direction of the organization in addition to managing BAHR's partnerships. Specifically, he leads the day-to-day operation of our Medical Transit Chaperone Program, which is a subsidized transportation solution for patients who may not be able to access healthcare otherwise. In the past, Andrew has also analyzed potential use cases for technologies like Fibroscan and Capsule endoscopy, and conducted independent research into their applications for medical providers.
Andrews interests lie in healthcare delivery, with a specific focus on the accessibility of culturally-conscious, individualized healthcare resources.
A native of the East Bay, Andrew's work with BAHR is motivated by his personal experiences with gaps in the Bay Area healthcare ecosystem.
